Auction Watch: Detective Comics #27

Detective Comics #27

Yesterday, a copy of Detective Comics #27 was auctioned off and made a substantial amount for the owner. In 1939, when Detective Comics #27 was released, ten cents was all Robert Irwin paid for the debut of Batman. Well, the issue went for $492,937. This may sound like a lot, but it was only back in February that a copy of 'Tec #27 sold for over a million dollars. Don't you wish you had a copy? I know I do, but I wouldn't sell it.
