We all know that there is Batman merchandise almost at every store out there. But the crazy merchandise id what we are going to feature. If they can publish a book all about the craze that is known as Bat-manga, than you know there is tons of merchandise all over the world. Now even thought this first piece is not that crazy, I am showing it for the fact that Warner Bros. can license just about anything. Available at the end of this month, Victoria, Australia will be offering license plates for vehicles featuring our favorite DC superheroes.

The design is titled, "The Smiling" and is a mash-up of the two classic films, "Batman" from 1989 and "The Shining" which both starred Jack Nicholson, who gave incredible performances in both. I came across this when surfing the net for Batman stuff. It was announced last month that Warner Bros. and Sideshow Collectibles formed a licensing partnership. At Comic Con International last month, we saw for the first time in person the first statue set to release from Sideshow Collectibles. The LEGO building blocks have generated a slew of Batman-related architecture and re-imaginings over the years. However, one thing I can honestly say I have never seen is a LEGO version of the 1960's Batmobile. Well, Alex "Orion Pax" Schranz must have thought the same thing and did something about it. The image below is none over then a LEGO 60's Batmobile and it's pretty impressive. He perfectly captures that sleek and retro feel, creating a great deal of nostalgia for me.
