After setting a record in pre-sale tickets for the film, Warner Bros. has revealed the totals from the weekend. After raking in over $30 million from the midnight showings, the weekend rounded out with $160.9 million making it the largest 2D release gross ever. The Dark Knight Rises sits at third place for opening weekend box office behind The Avengers and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part 2, both of which had higher ticket prices from the 3D format….

With all of the cast making the rounds on the press circuit for The Dark Knight Rises, there is bound to be a number of clips showing over the next week and a half. This morning, Anne Hathaway was on The Today Show and Live with Kelly. The Today showed off a clip, but Live with Kelly showed off the same clip with some added footage in the beginning.
