Story By: Mitch Brian
Teleplay By: Sean Catherine Derek & Laren Bright
Directed By: Kevin Altieri
Original Air Date: 09/18/92
If you were to have an encounter with Batman, would you be able to accurately recall what you just experienced if someone were to ask you about it? Or would you be in such awe of Batman that you would not be able to accurately remember what you just saw? Or maybe you wouldn’t be impressed by him at all, and instead you retell…

Throughout Batman's career, he has had to face many different forms of Crime in Gotham City. Episode 05: Pretty Poison
Written By: Tom Ruegger
Directed By: Boyd Kirkland
Original Air Date: 09/14/92
Poison Ivy holds the title of being the first female villain to appear in Batman: The Animated Series, and she makes her debut in the fifth episode of the series titled, "Pretty Poison." Poison Ivy has never really been one of my favorite Batman villains, nor has she been one that I hate. She falls somewhere in the middle between the great Batman villains, and the…

Episode 04: The Last Laugh
Written by: Carl Swenson
Directed by: Kevin Altieri
Original Air Date: 09/22/92
After what was in my opinion a lackluster way to introduce an iconic character like the Joker in the episode “Christmas With The Joker", he actually makes his second appearance in "Batman: The Animated Series" rather quickly, in the fourth episode titled “The Last Laugh.” To me, this is a much stronger episode than “Christmas With The Joker.” It is an episode that has a lot of action,…

This isn't my usual thing around here, but after seeing this video the other day, I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to share it! Done sometime in the late 1970s, probably 1977, Adam West dropped by the local Memphis, Tennessee television station WHBQ, apparently in town for a local car show gig, and only decked out in the cowl, for some reason not in a full Batman costume. And this was during the time slot that the station broadcasted professional…

Deviant Art is one of the best places to find really breath-taking fan art these days. One user, Von Toten has recently posted up a piece of art that showcases all the villains in The Batman Universe titled, "We're All Batsy in the Belfry". Pretty cool right? The image is pretty astounding and really seems to take some inspiration from The Batman television series, but remains a little more classical to the character designs. What do you think? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.

Earlier this year we brought you images of a pitched Batman animated show that didn't just make it. Well it seems that a little while ago, there was another version pitched that may have been for the upcoming James Tucker produced Batman show. Artist Coran Zone posted this info on a shot he got to design the new show: So James the Terrifically talented Tucker producer of “The Brave and Bold” series was starting work on the new Bat show and decided to take a chance on the new guy….Me! So I became character designer. I was floored…
