For those of us that read the “New 52” Justice League #1 we were presented with a scene where Batman takes the power ring off Green Lantern Hal Jordan. Batman correctly deduced that willpower and concentration was the key to the ring’s power and manages to slip the ring off Jordan when he wasn’t “concentrating”. See below.

This isn’t the first time that this has happened to Hal Jordan in comic book lore. Way back in All Star Batman #9 Batman and Robin did the same thing to Hal. They painted themselves yellow to be impervious to the Green ring’s power and slipped it off when Jordan wasn’t concentrating.

C’mon Hal, once shame on them. Twice shame on you!
