A three part story featuring Robin begins in this issue. It also should be noted that the first issue of this series came out in print on 1/18.

 

1/18:

Batman (2011-) #5 ($2.99)

Batman begins a journey into the labyrinth of The Court of Owls.

 

Batman Incorporated: Leviathan Strikes (2010-2011) #1 ($4.99)

The double issue that wrapped up the first part of Grant Morrison’s Batman Inc. saga, and sets up the new chapter set to begin next month.

 

Batman: Gotham Knights #61-64 ($1.99 each)

It’s Hush vs. Poison Ivy in the Human Nature story arc.

 

Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight #32-36 ($1.99 each)

Covers 1992’s Blades and Destiny stories.

 

Batman: Odyssey (2011-) #4 ($3.99)

More fun in the Underworld as Robin swoops in to lend a hand in Batman’s journey.

 

Batman: Shadow of the Bat #53 ($1.99)

A prelude to the 1996 Legacy crossover. Bruce leaves Gotham in fear that Tim Drake still has the Contagion virus, and leaves Gotham to The Huntress.

 

Birds of Prey (2011-) #5 ($2.99)

A down time between stories issue that wraps up the last story, and leads into the next.

 

Catwoman (2011-) #5 ($2.99)

Catwoman fights her new adversary, Reach.

 

Countdown #27-22 ($1.99 each) (Series renamed Countdown To Final Crisis starting with issue #26)

More Countdown goodness, including The Trickster and Pied Piper running into Two-Face.

 

DC Digital Comics Sneak Peeks 1/18/2012 (Free)

The fifth issues of Batman, Nightwing and Red Hood and the Outlaws get the cover treatment. Also included inside are previews for Batman: Odyssey #4, Birds of Prey #5, Catwoman #5, Tiny Titans #48 and Young Justice #12.

 

Detective Comics (1937-2011) #549-550 ($1.99 each)

Couple of Doug Moench stories from 1985, including one featuring Harvey Bullock in #549, but it’s Alan Moore’s Green Arrow/Black Canary Night Olympics two-part story that gives the issues the digital treatment.

 

Detective Comics (1937-2011) #830-833 ($1.99 each)

The Paul Dini run continues with issues from early 2007, including team-ups with Zatanna and Harley Quinn.

 

Nightwing (1996-2009) #61-62 ($1.99 each)

More classic Nightwing stories featuring Dick Grayson time on the force. Issue #62 ties into the 2001 Joker’s Last Laugh crossover event.

 

Nightwing (2011-) #5 ($2.99)

The show moves to New Orleans and Nightwing runs afoul of the supernatural as he continues to unravel the mysteries of the circus.

 

Red Hood and The Outlaws #5 ($2.99)

It’s Jason Todd going solo against The United, while Roy tries to defend Starfire from Crux.

 

Teen Titans (2003-2011) #20-24 ($1.99 each)

Several issues tie into the events of Identity Crisis, including a story featuring a confrontation with Doctor Light, and issue #24 begins a crossover with The Outsiders dealing with the revelation about whose human DNA Superboy has and where he was cloned.

 

Young Justice (2011-) #12 ($2.99)

The Clayface of this Universe gets his origin told as Young Justice battles him.
