Hey Dustin. I recently listened to Episode 9 of The Gotham Chronicle, where you voiced your displeasure with the show. It’s fine if you don’t like the writing or the characters. But what I would encourage people who read the comics to do is, let it go. Gotham is creating it’s OWN Batman canon. So if Penguin is already established by Season 2, and Bruce is still only in high school, then so what? On the show Bruce is either 14 or 15 years old. Theoretically he could slowly start training, and be ready to put on the cape and cowl by 21. By then, if a few of Batman’s famous villains have already been established. And Jim Gordon has failed to clean up the city, then that’s why Bruce will feel the need to take matters into his own hands. Gotham is just a live-action Elseworlds Batman prequel.

There are a couple of problems with what you are saying in my opinion. My main concern with the show, and I’m sure I didn’t make it very clear in that episode, was that overall I have a problem with the show because of how poorly it is written. I will address your comments in depth on the comic cast as it ties into another issue pressing right now.
