It has been sometime, well not that long, since we heard some news about some other DC properties that are in the works.
While this isn't the news about the long rumored Justice League film or any of the major League members, it does prove that Warner Bros. is thinking outside the book when it comes to making more films based off of DC Comics large library of characters.
Vulture is reporting that Men in Black director, Barry Sonnenfeld, has attached himself to a Metal Men film. There is no information about the project other than he has attached himself to the project. This is however reported from a spy, and should be taken as a rumor for now.
The Metal Men is a group of cyborg robots that are each based off of a specific element. They appeared in numerous comic during the 1960's and 1970's and have had few appearances in recent years. They in recent memory have appeared in Batman: The Brave and the Bold.
