DC Celebrates Justice League Day on November 18

Coinciding with the release of the film of the same name, DC Comics has announced that November 18 will be known as Justice League Day. Coming one day after the movie’s theatrical release, Justice League Day will be celebrated at comic book stores, bookstores, and Six Flag Theme Parks.

Among activities planned at each location, attendees will be able to pick up Justice League Day #1 Special Edition, a free edition of the New 52’s Justice League #1 by Geoff Johns and Jim Lee. If you can’t make it to a physical location, digital retailers will have access to free downloads of the same book. Fans who see the movie in theaters will be able to grab free comics such as Justice League #15 available at IMAX at AMC Theaters and free digital comics at Cinemark and Regal IMAX theaters.

In addition to the free comic, sales on Justice League-related comics will be going on both online and at physical retailers. From the official press release:

Justice League titles at Books-A-Million locations will be on sale Nov. 14-27 with a buy one, get one 50% off special offer. Digital readers can rediscover their favorite Justice League stories with DC’s “Join the League” sale, from Nov. 7-20. The two-week sale features over 160 e-books and periodical issues, including The New 52 and Rebirth collections for AQUAMAN, BATMAN, WONDER WOMAN, SUPERMAN, GREEN LANTERN, CYBORG and THE FLASH. DC will also offer over 100 discounted Justice League led e-books and periodicals with the “Justice League: All In” sale, from Nov. 14-20.
