Many have been wondering since the news that a young child actress was hired on for The Dark Knight Rises who she would be playing. And a lot of people have speculated that she would be playing a younger version of Marion Cotillard's character because the two have similarities in appearance. Well King spilled the beans on who she will be playing during an interview with My Entertainment World.

MEW: Christopher Nolan’s Batman franchise is one of the biggest in the world, was it intimidating jumping on board for The Dark Knight Rises?

Joey King: It was so cool, I had an amazing time. I got to travel to places I’d never been to before. Christopher Nolan is so nice, so is Christian Bale. I just had the best time.

MEW: What’s your role in that film?

Joey King: I play young Talia al Ghul. I can’t give too much away because I promised Mr. Nolan I wouldn’t say anything. There are too many secrets about the character and the movie.

So we can now put to rest who King is playing in the film. That does leave the question of who Marion Cotillard is playing since the two look very alike.
