This particularly famous panel is from Batman Family #1, which came out in 1975. This is arguably the first openly romantic panel shown in comics, though it is not intentionally romantic, given the circumstances. At the time, Barbara Gordon was a Congresswoman and Dick Grayson was going to Hudson University. This panel launched 1,000 letters to the Bat-offices (most of them in disgust)!
