After Bruce Timm debuted Batman: Strange Days, Warner Bros. released an animated short of Batman Beyond at WonderCon on Saturday April 19, 2014. Under the direction of artist Darwyn Cooke, we get another trip down animated memory lane. Cartoon Network will also be airing the short after the episode of Teen Titans GO! today, April 23, 2014.

Yesterday looked at a kid friendly version of The Dynamic Duo, and while these guys probably are great to play with, Mattel produced these with “adult” collectors in mind. With DC finally getting the chance to produce merchandise based on the likenesses of the 1960s Batman TV series, Mattel wasted no time in cashing in on the nostalgia kick of producing action figures in the likenesses of Adam West’s Batman and Burt Ward’s Robin.

NECA has released the 1966 Batman 1/4 Scale Action Figure as their tribute to the Adam West version of Batman. The figure will be coming out with a functioning utility belt, interchangeable hands, a batarang, and will stand at 18" tall. Deep within the secret batcave below Wayne Manor, this chapter opens with Batman and Robin attempting to uncover the plot mentioned by Bookworm in the previous installment. After examining the play on words, the dynamic duo deduces that Bookworm is set to strike against the Dickens Matchbook Boutique. Although worried that Bookworm may uncover his true identity, Batman postulates that “whatever the risk, a crime-fighter must fight crime!”
The next day, the duo is camped outside the boutique waiting for Bookworm to strike. He eventually shows up…

If you have any access to the internet at all then you cannot have helped but notice that just under a month after Warner Bros. announced that Batman would feature in the next Superman film set to be released in 2015. They have now, after a long month of rumors and speculation, announced that the lucky actor to play Batman is going to be Ben Affleck.
Yeah that Ben Affleck. From Pearl Harbour.
Unsurprisingly this has caused a massive split in the comic book community, with some calling for Zack Snyder to rethink this,…

Hard to imagine Christian Bale, Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans or any other superhero live actor resorting to this today. But after the show ran its course, one of the things Adam West did for gigs was to appear in costume, and sometimes with the Batmobile and Burt Ward as Robin, at events ranging from auto shows to just a simple public appearance, such as this one photographed by a Chris Curely who took this shot of a West appearance at a mall…

The original 1966 Batmobile which was used on the Saturday morning live action T.V. show has sold at auction for $4.6 Million at the Barrett-Jackson Auction Company. George Barris, the creator of the 1966 Batmobile, put the car up for sale after years of turning down large sums of money for the car. When asked why he decided to finally part with the car, he says that after sitting in his studio for so long he thought it was time for the car to be put somewhere where it could be…

Hello everyone, Gary from Bat-Fans here! It's been a real busy couple weeks, but I wanted to take some time to share with you my Batman experiences from this year's Dragon*Con in Atlanta, Georgia! As a more Sci-Fi/Fantasy heavy convention there wasn't a whole lot of Batman comic guests, but TV's dynamic duo Adam West and Burt Ward, were both in attendance this year! in fact, the mayor of Atlanta gave commendations to both and declared September 1st "Adam West and Burt Ward Day!" How cool is…
