How can I begin to describe the final installment of the Dark Knight trilogy? Well, let’s just get started. Recently, on an episode of the David Letterman Show, Dave apparently blew the lid off of The Dark Knight Rises by revealing a major plot point. Anne Hathaway happened to be the guest that evening. She apologized to Christopher Nolan on the air immediately following Dave’s comments. This story has appeared on the news, and I’ve looked up several articles regarding it just to get the facts. I was not able to see the actual episode, but I saw several clips. First, Dave says… Wait. Hang…

A couple of new rumors have popped online and one interesting bit. The first one is not a rumor as much as it is an interesting thought. It turns out that when Anne Hathaway was auditioning for The Dark Knight Rises, she was unaware of what role she was trying out for. She actually assumed it was for the role of Harley Quinn. It wasn't until she was done auditioning that she found out it was for Catwoman. Although…

Hero Complex is back with another exclusive regarding The Dark Knight Rises. This time around they sat down with Anne Hathaway to talk Catwoman. But that wasn't the only exclusive. There is also a description of a scene that was filmed during the summer in London. First, what did Hathaway have to say? Discussing the Catwoman costume: I love the costume. I love the costume because everything has a purpose, nothing is in place for fantasy’s sake, and that’s the case with everything in Christopher Nolan’s Gotham City. Regarding the script based on the story by both Nolan and David Goyer: Gotham…

As you'll likely not need to be reminded; when The Dark Knight hit cinemas in 2008 it took the world by storm. Building on what Christopher Nolan had created in Batman Begins, the second film took everything that made the first so good and magnified it. There was more action, more drama, more suspense – and of course, one of the greatest performances of all time from Heath Ledger. So good in fact that he earned himself a…
