According to the gaming website Kotaku, two of their sources are saying that Batman: Arkham Origins will include a multiplayer mode. The first source apparently told the gaming website that Origins would be called Origins and would have a Christmas theme to it. That source also said that the game would have a multiplayer mode which was confirmed by another one of their sources while Warner Bros. declined to comment on it. According to the first source, the one that initially told Kotaku about the multiplayer mode…

I always thought this image of Bane holding Batman over his head in defeat was a great way to open part 12 of Knightfall in Detective Comics #664. After part 11 ended with the cliffhanger of Bane breaking Batman, I couldn't wait to see what would happen next when I read that issue for the first time. But when I looked at this image on the first page of Detective Comics #664, I knew things were about to go from bad to worse, as it showed me Batman…

The most iconic image from Knightfall! The breaking of the Bat! Bane's claim to fame has always been that he was the one who broke Batman, and the image of him doing so in Batman #497 has become one of the most memorable images in Batman's history. While I absolutely loved seeing this moment brought to life in "The Dark Knight Rises," this is the image that still has the biggest impact on me of showing Batman actually being defeated and broken. One of the things I liked best about Knightfall was Bane's plan to drain Batman both mentally and physically by breaking out all of Arkham's inmates, and having them wreak havoc on Gotham. In probably the most memorable encounter Batman had before his fight with Bane, Batman goes up against the Joker and Scarecrow, where he is sprayed with Scarecrow's fear toxin, and sees images of Joker killing Jason Todd. This all leads to Joker receiving a massive beat down from Batman, as he is screaming Jason's name…

Knightfall is a special story for me. It's the first story that got me to become a full fledged comic book collector as a young kid, and because of that, there are several images from that Batman story that have always stuck out to me. So to kick off my favorite images from Knightfall, I thought it would be best to show my favorite image of the main villain from the story. Bane. Since his introduction, Bane has gone through several costume designs in the comics, several animated…

So the Joker has this massive story line where he personally goes after Batman and his allies because somehow he has gained intimate knowledge about whom each of them are. Okay, so this has been a kick-ass storyline so far, and no doubt will end in such a glorious fashion as only Scott Synder can provide these days. The question is though, what’s next? Oh yes, in Batman things move on to The Riddler and down the road we shall see the return of The Red Hood Gang…
