Big thank you to Dustin, and everyone at TheBatmanUniverse.net for two tickets to see Batman: Live at my chosen venue, The Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC) in Glasgow on August the 3rd of this year, which was the opening night, for Batman: Live here in Glasgow. Batman: Live is the retelling of the origin of Dick Grayson, from boyhood acrobat, to the boy wonder. A classic story that anyone who has seen the movie “Batman Forever” can tell you about, so it was certainly a mighty task…

When Tim Burton was tapped for the second Batman film, he spoke with Michael Keaton and they both agreed that they had already discovered everything about Batman, with the first film. The studio persisted, and Tim's itch for Gotham had clearly not left him. And the result is a much darker Batman than even the first film captured. This one broke new ground that most Batman films still have not. This is a unique interpretation that cannot be duplicated. Tim Burton’s visual style…

There is a couple of minor things to cover for Batman: Arkham City. First up, there are some rumors online that are stating that Batman: Arkham City has been delayed and will be coming out two weeks later than originally planned. These rumors are false. The date that the sites are reporting is October 18. That is actually the same date the Rocksteady and Warner Bros. announced earlier this year as the release date. Another bit of news…

We start a new segment today with the help of Bat-fan Michele. Michele has been in the closed beta for DC Universe Online for about a month. She has a number of screenshots that she will be sharing with us Bat-fans who are not in the beta and waiting for the game to be released. The first screen she sent over is the Bat-Signal shining high above Gotham City. Posted by Dustin

With the return of Bruce Wayne, Batman is seemingly everywhere these days. The pages of Brightest Day are no exception. But, if you’re thinking that Batman dons the White Lantern ring and uses it to power his pursuit of all things evil you are mistaken. Deadman also known as Boston Brand is the true centerpiece of this story. The inclusion of Batman in this book (aside from selling more Brightest Day books by glomming on to Bruce’s return) is to prove to Boston Brand…
