So today is the day that Batman: Arkham City hits North America, and although fans around the world will also soon have their copies of the game, there may be some people still on the fence about buying the game (but I haven't heard of one, yet). So I wanted to run through some of the great reasons to but the game and stay up all night playing the game.

The release date for Batman: Arkham City is just days away and Rocksteady and Warner Bros. have one last trailer for the game. This trailer showcases some villains we have seen very briefly in other trailers including Bane, Poison Ivy and Talia al Ghul.
Stay tuned for all kinds of last minute bits leading up to the release date.

There have already been a number of villains that have been announced for Batman: Arkham City, Rocksteady insisted not that long ago that they would not be revealing any more characters before the launch of the game. And although it seems that they in fact are not, it isn't stopping the gaming world from revealing some of the secrets that are in store for gamers in a little less than two weeks.
Playstation's online news magazine, Qore, revealed in a lengthy video that there are more villains than are expected. We have seen screenshots of Bane in the game,…

This comic certainly lives up to its name. Out of the 80 pages only a handful are taken up by ads or previews, so there is a lot for fans to dig into. And with a long comic comes a long review, I’m going to look at each of this year’s stories individually. I’m also going to give each story its own batarang rating, with the final score being their average. Before starting the review proper, kudos to Dustin Nguyen and…

While the Nolan Batman films have done many terrific things with the film franchise, one of the best things about the two films is how well the Nolans and David Goyer have been able to choose the correct supporting characters to inhibit their Batman Universe. Mainly the villains; each villain they have chosen has carried much more dramatic weight and meaning to the films. After Christopher Nolan's announcement that The Riddler will not be in the upcoming film, The Dark Knight Rises, many fans now are scratching their heads wonder who will be villain?
Well before I run down the…

We have now come to the half way point in this Batman Beyond tale. How is it holding up? Let’s take a look.
We pick up where issue 2 left off, with Batman face to face with Hush about to kill Calendar Man. Terry starts an inner monologue about how tired he is, and the Hush case is not helping matters. During the fight, Hush reveals that he knows Terry isn’t Bruce and calls Terry a “faker”, Terry also doesn’t check in with Bruce which…

Admittedly, when the Batman Beyond animated series came out years ago I have to say that I wasn’t really impressed with the whole premise and even though just about everyone liked it, I just didn’t see the point. So with the advent of the Batman Beyond comic book mini series on the horizon, obviously, I wasn’t filled with anticipation and excitement . But after avoiding it out of pure disinterest I decided one day to pick up the first issue and give it a…
