Only a few days ago the prologue was screened to the press in Los Angeles and Chris Nolan himself introduced the footage and expressed his love for the IMAX format. The Los Angeles' Times' Hero Complex was in attendance and had a chance to talk to Nolan about a number of things related to the film. On embracing Bat-mania- “It’s terrific, to have people that interested in something. It reminds you that it…

Warner Bros. and its film group president, Jeff Robinov have been causing quite a stir in recent months. First Robinov stated that the studio was planning a "Justice League" film for a 2013 release date, which sounded far too ambitious and far too ridiculous, but then Robinov followed that up by saying that he wanted the Green Lantern sequel to be "a little edgier and darker". Either way, Robinov gets people talking and it looks like he's done it again. When talking with the Los Angeles Hero Complex, Robinov mentioned…

I’m just going to lay this out before I review this issue of Secret Six. I hate crossovers. No, let me rephrase that, I hate crossovers between two books, and no matter how the creative teams try, the books do not sync up. Somehow when two creators join to do a crossover, instead of co-plotting and dialoguing an issue, we get each creator “trying to take a stab” at the other persons interest, and does it work? Sometimes, the law of averages works in their…

While the Nolan Batman films have done many terrific things with the film franchise, one of the best things about the two films is how well the Nolans and David Goyer have been able to choose the correct supporting characters to inhibit their Batman Universe. Mainly the villains; each villain they have chosen has carried much more dramatic weight and meaning to the films. After Christopher Nolan's announcement that The Riddler will not be in the upcoming film, The Dark Knight Rises, many fans now are scratching their heads wonder who will be villain? Well before I run down the…

It has been quite some time since we at TBU brought you any kind of Batman 3 news. Mostly because, there hasn't been much. The last time we mentioned anything, we said wait for January for an announcement. Well, January came and went and there wasn't anything announced. But it seems that we still might not be that far off from an announcement. In December, we posted up that a number of producers involved with DC projects were saying that news was coming soon from Warner Bros. The news could not come soon enough for most fans. Over the…
