The next issue of Detective Comics is out tomorrow and it takes place during the Night of the Owls. Comic Book Resources talked with Tony Daniel about not only joining the Night of the Owls event, but also what is in store in Detective Comics going forward. Here are the highlights. CBR: You just finished your Penguin arc and your next issue will take "Detective Comics" into the Night Of The Owls. Originally, "Detective" was not going to be part of the event — when did you…

Tony Daniel's Detective Comics will now be a part of the crossover according to The Source. The solicitation for May's Detective Comics #9 stated that Batman would be facing Mr. Toxic. That has…

When this issue came out I have to admit I wasn’t exactly ripping the bag open and whipping through the pages. In fact I wasn’t even thinking about reading it until I had read through the rest of my pull list twice! The reason being I was just not too interested in the story. The first part (Detective Comics #864) was alright we got to see Jeremiah Arkham as the twisted maniac that he is, but I just wasn’t pulled into the story. So when it…

So join me as we take a trip down memory lane and look back at the Scotsman’s career. Enjoy: Alan Grant is a long time comic book writer, who surprisingly is often mentioned when talking about some of the “great” Batman writers of the last 25 years. Other than…
