The Outlaws team up with the Teen Titans to battle Gotham citizens under the influence of the Joker toxin. Meanwhile the teams respective leaders Jason Todd and Tim Drake are still held captive by The Joker, who is putting the finishing touches to his plan to take out another two of Batman's trusted allies. This was an enjoyable enough issue with a big spotlight put onto Roy Harper and his having to step up and lead not only the Outlaws but also the Teen Titans as well. The…

The Joker is back! At the end of last month’s issue, Jason had found the unconscious body of Isabel, GCPD was about to break down the door and the Joker was on the TV screen letting Jason know just how screwed he was. The story continues from there in issue #15. Jason “deals” with the police, led by Bullock and leaves Isabel in their caring arms. He is fleeing to the Batcave to warn the rest of the family when he is gassed by the Joker. We get…

Bleeding Cool is reporting that beginning with issue #18, Scott Lobdell will no longer be writing Red Hood And The Outlaws. It's being reported that current Talon writer James Tynion IV will be taking over the book with issue #18. But until DC officially announces this change, it should still be treated as a rumor for now. Posted by Dane Haji
The big battle in space is over and our team is on its way back to Earth in “Red Hood and the Outlaws #14”. This issue starts us off with a bang as Superman comes alongside and asks for a word with Kori. Awkward! The crew thinks it can help our heroes give Superman the slip by transporting them to Earth using a cloaking program, but a few minutes after being transported to the island hideout, the Man of Steel has already caught up with them. Superman…

It is no secret that I am a huge supporter of Tim Drake getting his own series. I voiced this at numerous points during multiple episodes of both The Batman Universe Podcast and The Batman Universe Comic Podcast. That being said, I am starting to read into more of the comments that I see while posting new stories and seeing whether or not this is actually going to happen. Dan Didio has asked fans at Fan Expo back in August, Baltimore Comic Con in September and…

If you haven't read Teen Titans #0, you may have missed out on a story that explains a completely different origin for Tim Drake. Comic Book Resources caught up with writer Scott Lobdell to talk about some of the changes. If you haven't read the issue, plot points will be revealed in the interview. CBR: Scott, this month's "Teen Titans" #0 contained a huge reveal about the New 52 Tim Drake: not only are his parents still alive, they're currently in witness protection. Obviously, this is a…

Death of the Family is the current talk for The Batman Universe. Nightwing has been hinted on Twitter by writer Kyle Higgins to possibly have the most dire outcome of all of the Bat-family. Newsarama talked with Higgins about how Nightwing falls into the crossover as well as what is upcoming for Dick Grayson. Newsarama: Kyle, this week's #0 issue looks like it's an origin for Dick Grayson. Is this going to give us his back-story in the New 52? Kyle Higgins: It's the story of Dick Grayson becoming a…

Scott Lobdell currently writes both Red Hood and the Outlaws and Teen Titans. While Teen Titans is not covered directly by The Batman Universe and beginning next month neither will Red Hood, the paths of the series will continue to cross the main Bat-books in the future. This would include the upcoming "Death of the Family" crossover. In addition, the zero issues this month lay out the origins of Tim Drake and Jason Todd. Newsarama spoke with Lobdell about the zero issues and the upcoming Joker story.
