Tony Daniel's final issue of Batman is one that isn’t easily classified as good or bad. On the one hand this issue has been far superior than the other issues in his run, but on the other hand it just isn’t up to par nor very well written. I can say that I feel good about this issue but then again I can say that I was almost totally disappointed by it. This issue has me on the edge of those two mediums and I have to…

Well I'd like to make a formal apology to the listeners of the comic podcast for my mistake, not that I was in the wrong but DC once again has its solicitations mixed up. You may remember that I told everyone 'Batman' #708 would be written by Tony Daniel and not David Hine like it said would happen at the end of 'Azrael' #18, this is because according to DC's solicitations, Tony Daniel did write the issue but as every one knows who went out on Wednesday to…

In this time of Omega Sanctions, Time Spheres and unsavory Barbatos rituals, it’s refreshing to read a story that has Batman doing what he does best…detecting. In Batman Confidential #49 we see Gotham’s Dark Knight doing just that. James Patrick’s engaging story begins with Batman intercepting a terrified woman’s frantic 911 call. Racing across Gotham’s rooftops, Batman arrives on the scene long before GCPD does. But not in time to thwart the brutal murder of the parents of a young girl who appears to have…
