Below you will find brief descriptions of this week’s comics along with the ratings. Below the main TBU titles will be the DC Universe specific titles that feature characters from The Batman Universe. Rather than giving in depth reviews for those titles, we will be describing what happens in the book involving TBU characters and how it possibly impacts the story.


Main TBU Books

Detective Comics #939: In the aftermath of their escape from the Colony, Batman (Bruce Wayne), Batwoman (Kate Kane), and their team go into overdrive to thwart Jacob Kane’s plans. -Ian 4/5


Batgirl #2: Batgirl (Barbara Gordon) juggles MMA training and romantic entanglements in Singapore. -Ian 3.5/5


Secondary TBU Books (miniseries/digital firsts)

Harley’s Little Black Book #4: Harley travels back in time to the time of the DC Comics Bombshells team. After teaming up with her Bombshell self, they take out Hitler and shift the war in new direction. -Gerry 4.5/5


Main DC Universe Books (involving TBU characters and elements)

Teen Titans #23: The Teen Titans are faced with the plans of the H.I.V.E. Queen. Instead of using their powers, they use Tim’s intellect to win the day. -Jim 4.5/5


Titans #2: The Titans are arriving in Keystone City to find a group of fake Titans tearing up the city. In the battle it is revealed that the master mind is Abra Kadabra and it appears he kills Garth to get to Wally West. -Jim 4/5

Deathstroke #1: The Clock King makes another appearance in the issue.


Sixpack and Dogwelder: Hard-Travelin’ Heroz #1: Catwoman has a brief cameo in the issue.
