Below you will find brief descriptions of this week’s comics along with the ratings. Below the main TBU titles will be the DC Universe specific titles that feature characters from The Batman Universe. Rather than giving in depth reviews for those titles, we will be describing what happens in the book involving TBU characters and how it possibly impacts the story.

 

Main TBU Books

Batman #12: As Batman makes his way towards Bane’s throne room, a letter is shared with the reader on how Bruce Wayne sees Batman and Catwoman similar enough to warrant their ongoing relationship. -Matthew 3/5

 

Nightwing #10: Nightwing heads to the city of Bludhaven to not only have a city to operate in, but also somewhere where he can find himself. -David 4.5/5

 

Harley Quinn #9: Harley has a dream that is analyzed by her therapist. Then she heads out for some roller derby before trying to figure out who took out her main rival. -David 4.5/5

Batman ’66 Meets Steed and Mrs. Peel #6 (digital chapters #11-12): The Caped Crusaders and Steed and Mrs. Peel’s Cybernaut adventure draws to a close as the mystery of Michaela Gough’s motives are revealed. -Gerry 2.5/5

 

Main DC Universe Books

Justice League #10: After the League confronts the hacker from the last issue, they learn that they have had a bounty worth the fortune of both Lex Luthor and Bruce Wayne which invites villains from all over the DC Universe to try and take them out. -Paul 3.5/5

 

Secondary DC Universe Books (involving TBU cameos and digital firsts)

DC Comics Bombshells #20 (digital chapters #58-60): Mari (Vixen), former Olympic champion and ruler of Zambesi, briefs Catwoman and Batwoman as they sail to her country to protect Amanda Waller from the Nazis. Renee Montoya (the Question), is not happy to be along for the ride. She reveals to Mari her past with Kate in Spain, the loss of Jason and her childhood in the Dominican Republic. Mari shows the team a robot rhino unearthed by her archaeologists. The group is attacked by the woman whose sniper shot killed Jason.

 

Green Arrow #12: Black Canary continues to work alongside Green Arrow while someone tries to frame him for multiple murders.

 

Injustice: Ground Zero #1 (digital chapters #1-2): Harley Quinn details her life leading up to and during the years of Injustice. After retelling her past, she assumes control over the Joker resistance fighters to fight Superman and the Regime.
