Below you will find brief descriptions of this week’s comics along with the ratings. Below the main TBU titles will be the DC Universe specific titles that feature characters from The Batman Universe. Rather than giving in depth reviews for those titles, we will be describing what happens in the book involving TBU characters and how it possibly impacts the story.

 

Main TBU Books

Batgirl Annual #1: Two stories are featured, with the first being a team-up with Supergirl setting up a story coming in the pages of Supergirl. The second story showcases Alysia Yeoh. -Ian 2.5/5

Dark Knight III: The Master Race #8: As Batman is brought back to life after Superman dips him into a Lazarus Pit, Wonder Woman informs that Quar’s army is attacking Themyscyra leading to a battle between the Amazons and the Kryptonians. -Matthew 2/5

 

Harley’s Little Black Book #6: This time around, Harley teams with Lobo. They battle other bounty hunters, hundred-eyed cave creatures, and pirates as they wreak havoc on everyone they meet. -Gerry 4/5

Justice League of America #3: As the JLA tke down members of the Extremeists, they move closer to taking down Lord Havok. -Paul 4/5

 

Titans Annual #1: The Titans and the Justice League have to come together to fight against an unseen foe driven to breaking up the bonds between the mentors and their former sidekicks. -Bill 4.5/5

 

Suicide Squad/Banana Splits Special #1: In a silly crossover as much as expected, the Banana Splits must save Task Force X from doom. -Gerry 2.5/5

 

Secondary DC Universe Books (involving TBU cameos and digital firsts)

Adam Strange/Future Quest Special #1: Batman and Catwoman both appear in the Top Cat backup story.

 

Green Lantern/Space Ghost Special #1: While trying to come up with something that is scary, Green Lantern creates a construct of Batman.
