Below you will find brief descriptions of this week’s comics along with the ratings. Below the main TBU titles will be the DC Universe specific titles that feature characters from The Batman Universe. Rather than giving in depth reviews for those titles, we will be describing what happens in the book involving TBU characters and how it possibly impacts the story.


Main TBU Books

Detective Comics #954: After learning that Ra’s al Ghul has been messing with his memories, Batman is tricked and drugged before being handed over to Lady Shiva. Meanwhile, Jacob Kane is broken out of the Belfry by his allies. -Ian 3.5/5


Batgirl and the Birds of Prey #9: The origin of Blackbird is shown along with her ties to Black Canary’s early days. Fearing the worst. Huntress and Batgirl call for assistance from Green Arrow and Nightwing. -Ian 2.5/5


Red Hood and the Outlaws #9: The Outlaws travel to Qurac to investigate the use of a weapon of mass destruction that the team believes to be Artemis’ lost Bow of Ra. -Bill 4.5/5


Gotham Academy: Second Semester #8: Olive is fully possesed and takes Batman down as the rest of the Detective Club discovers the true intentions of Amity Arkham’s spirit. -Gerry 4.5/5

Super Powers! #6: Characters galore appear including Batman, Dick Grayson’s Robin, Barbara Gordon’s Batgirl, James Gordon, Joker, Ace the Bat-Hound, Killer Croc, Catwoman, Mr. Freeze, Two-Face and Clayface.
