Below you will find brief descriptions of this week’s comics along with the ratings. Below the main TBU titles will be the DC Universe specific titles that feature characters from The Batman Universe. Rather than giving in depth reviews for those titles, we will be describing what happens in the book involving TBU characters and how it possibly impacts the story.

 

Main TBU Books

Detective Comics #961: Azrael faces his very real inner demons, while his body fights the rest of the team, and Batman pursues danger against Zatanna’s advice. -Ian 4.5/5

 

All-Star Batman #12: Batman saves everyone in the submarine/casino, and then is ambushed by Penguin, Black Mask, Great White, and Hush as they get the better of him. -Corbin 3.5/5

 

Batgirl #13: Batgirl and Catwoman team up with Babs’s student Esme to track down some missing pets. -Ian 2/5

 

Batman Beyond #10: Damian Wayne recounts to his father his whereabouts during the Brother Eye invasion. Batman is ready for round two against the new Demon. -Jim 3.5/5

 

Mother Panic #9: Violet takes down the Body Bag Killeer with an assist from Batman, despite being in extreme pain and needing surgery for her implants. -Gerry 3/5

Batman/The Shadow #4: The Joker and The Stag have Batman captured and it’s up to the Shadow to save him before the Stag executes him and gains entrance into Shamba-la. -Paul 4.5/5

Teen Titans #10: As the Teen Titans aide Jackson’s injured mother, Black Manta captures his son and sets a course for his true prize: a fabled black pearl that holds control over the ocean itself. -Ryan 4/5

 

Justice League of America #11: The Justice League of America faces off against the Kingbutcher while the Atom and Killer Frost continue to search for a cure for Frost’s cold sickness. -Paul 3/5

 

Suicide Squad #22: Harley gets the team out of a pickle and finds out who killed Hack, while Waller is captured and escapes from The People. -Corbin 3.5/5
