TDKR Rumor Mill: Masked Man?

So first up over the weekend, our friends over at Batman-News.com spotted that a casting call has opened up for Magnus Rex in Pittsburgh. The description for the call is as follows:

A Warner Bros. Film requires extras to play as Victims and Perpetrators within a city besieged by crime and corruption. Take part in the urban action adventure ripping through the streets of Pittsburgh from July 28th through August 21st.

So if you are in the area, check out this link to find out all the details about how you can appear in The Dark Knight Rises.

The next thing we have refers back to a rumor we mentioned on Friday and again may have some spoilers so click the jump for more.

So we mentioned that there were some possible pictures showing Bruce Wayne jumping from the hospital, but the pics have finally surfaced. Batman-News.com again has these images.

But this next image is interesting since it shows a masked man. Some people are already saying that this means that Black Mask is in the film, but it could be Bruce Wayne wearing his pre-Bat-suit mask as we saw in Batman Begins. Who knows?

That image is courtesy of Movieweb. So who will be this masked man? We will find out when The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20, 2012.

I was listening to the most recent Batman Universe podcast today and musing over how DC is really dissing Grant Morrison by restarting all the titles at "one" and thereby undermining all his work.  I was also ticked that Dick Grayson would no longer be Gotham's Batman by virtue of the leak of Batman and Robin #1 this fall.
But as the "Blue Lanterns" would say, "All is well."  I'm glad to see Morrison will pick up his Batman Inc. in 2012.  That would've been a lot of work to dump.  I'm not so happy that Dick isn't Batman anymore but in the comic book world, never say never!
