Below you will find brief descriptions of this week’s comics along with the ratings. Below the main TBU titles will be the DC Universe specific titles that feature characters from The Batman Universe. Rather than giving in depth reviews for those titles, we will be describing what happens in the book involving TBU characters and how it possibly impacts the story.
Main TBU Books
Batman #4: After Gotham and Gotham Girl are manipulated by Hugo Strange and Psycho Pirate, Gotham kills a strike team because he believes he can fix Gotham. This leads Batman to connect that Amanda Waller and Task Force X are invlolved, but not before one of the member of the strike team exacts revenge on Gotham’s parents. This send Gotham over the edge and Batman cannot stop what is to come. -Matthew 4/5
Nightwing #2: Nightwing is on a mission with Raptor that has them battling some fish like people. Batgirl shows up briefly, but Nightwing has his sights currently set on taking down to Parliment of Owls and unfortunately does not have time for Babs. -David 4.5/5
Harley Quinn #1: After reestablishing Harley Quinn’s current status quo and catching new readers up on what has been happening, the story features an alien that shapeshifts into a cow, gets slaughtered and turned into hot dogs, which causes anyone who eats them to turn into a zombie like creature. -David 4/5
Batman Beyond #15: Tim Drake and Barbara Gordon battle blackouts over Gotham. When Barbara goes missing, Tim finds her at Blackgate and discovers that Rewire is really Terry McGinnis, the former Batman. -Jim 4.5/5

Harley Quinn and Her Gang of Harleys #4: Harley is kidnapped and taken to a creepy island full of illusions while the Gang try to rescue her without getting killed themselves. -Gerry 4/5
Batman ’66 Meets Steed and Mrs. Peel #2 (digital chapters #3-4): The Caped Crusaders continue their quest to conquer the Cybernauts and collect their crime czar with the help of Steed and Mrs. Peel. -Gerry 3/5

Justice League #2: The League quickly elminates all of the problems they had last issue and then meet up to compare notes. After realizing that yet the worst is yet to come, Batman heads to find Superman. -Paul 2/5
Suicide Squad: Rebirth #1: After being ordered by the president to shut down Task Force X, Amanda Waller suggests the addition of Rick Flag to the team in order to keep the squad up and running. On the other side of the world, the Squad is retrieving a bomb that either gives or takes away super powers. -Corbin 3.5/5

Injustice: Gods Among Us-Year Five #15 (digital chapters #29-30): While Superman attempts to reaffirm certain loyalties among his old allies, Bruce strikes the Regime HQ to get Cyborg. Meanwhile in space, Hawkman battles Mongul for a Kryptonite ring.
DC Comics Bombshells #16 (digital chapters #46-48): In Catwoman’s lair, the group resolves their initial conflict, and Selina, Harley, Kate, Renee, Ivy, Raven, Zatanna, Helena, Zinda, and Rudi swap war stories. Kate is concerned for Helena, who hates what her country has become, but Batwoman tells her the story of Jason, a boy who died at her side in the Spanish struggle. Arthur reveals that his mother was from the sea to Mera, and they unite with the village’s attacker to take back Mera’s queendom. Their rebellion meets a surprise when Mera’s sister Hila murders her evil husband and claims the throne herself, leading to a battle of sisters.
Green Arrow #4: As Green Arrow continues his investigation, Black Canary comes face to face with who is behind the entire plot, Green Arrow’s daughter. Oliver reteams with Diggle, and discovers that Black Canary is being held by Dante and is forced into a trade to save her.
