DC has released the solicitations for September 2014. The most noteworthy issues being released in September include the already announced special issues for the Furtures End month. DC has made September a regular month for an annual event celebrating the launch of the New 52 in September 2011. Every ongoing TBU title will recieve the Futures End treatment with a special #1. Some issues will be written by their regular creator, but most of the titles will see new creative teams for the special issue as has been the custom for these special events. Additionally, all Futures End titles will be printed with a standard 2-D cover as well as a special 3-D Lenticular covers for a dollar more.
September will also see the continuation of both ongoing Batman-related weelies, Batman Eternal and the New 52: Future's End. Long-time Batman fans should take special note of Batman Eternal #24 which features the first solicitation of Spoiler in the New 52.
In addition to these ongoing titles, August's solicitations also include Batman Essentials: Batman and Son Special Edition #1 which is described to be a republished exceprt from issues of the Batman and Son story which introduced Damian Wayne as Bruce's son as well as the introduction of Damian as Robin as part of the 75th Anniversary Celebration.
