After a very pretty long run on Teen Titans, Scott Lobdell has announced exclusively on ComicVine that the comic book title will be ending in April 2014.
"I'm thrilled DC is letting me wrap up the sotry on a high note as the Teen Titans square off against the N.O.W.H.E.R.E. in a final battle–bringing to conclusion the conflict that began in the first issue! I'm certainly going to miss writing the adventures of Red Robin, Wonder Girl, Bunker, and the rest of the gang. But as a huge, life long fan of the title I'm very excited about the whispered rumors I'm hearing race back and forth between New York and Burbank. (Trust me when I say we haven't seen the lat of the everyone's favorite teen team adventurers.)"
Scott Lobdell's comment at the end of his quote tries to imply that the title might have a relaunch. Bleeding Cool has tried to figure out who the new writer will be if DC Comics decides to bring it back. Lobdell makes sure to thank Brett Booth (former artist) and a few others for their support. Whether or not the title will be relaunched is entirely up to DC Comics.
