Last month, it was reported that Spider-Man alumni JK Simmons was joining the cast of Zack Snyder’s Justice League as James Gordon. Now, reports are coming in that another former actor from Sam Raimi’s trilogy has joined the DC Universe.
The Hollywood Reporter claims Willem Dafoe has signed on for the super-hero team up and will be playing a “DC good guy”, but that his role is being kept under wraps. Until we know more details about the films plot it’s difficult to start rumors, but since Gordon is around why not have Dafoe as Gotham’s Mayor to play off of. Whatever happens, Dafoe is an exceptional actor who can only add to the quality of the film. That is, as long as you keep him away from green masks.
