Yesterday, Warner Bros. held their Batman: The Brave and the Bold panel and there was some sad news to start with. The show will be moving into it's final thirteen episodes this coming year. That will bring the total number of episodes to sixty-five. That is the same number of episodes that The Batman had as well. The difference is that The Batman was spread out over five years while Batman: The Brave and the Bold will only be on air for three because of the first two seasons having twenty-six episodes a piece. Besides that we were treated to a number of hints of what is to come.
-Batgirl will be in an upcoming episode.
-WWII will be a theme for an upcoming episode.
-Despite the fact that the show is closing, we will still be seeing new episodes for over a year from now, as they still have thirteen episodes to record.
-A select amount of episodes will feature musical numbers, not musical episodes, but ways of adding in songs to the show.
-The Emperor Joker episode was shown which featured the first appearance of Harley Quinn, Firefly, and the return of Bat-Mite.
We will have interviews posted later on with the crew of Batman: The Brave and the Bold.
In addition to the discussion of Batman: The Brave and the Bold, the audience was treated to concept art and a teaser for the upcoming show Young Justice. Batman will be voiced by Bruce Greenwood and the episodes will feature Batman as a general of sorts to the group. Oh, and we just happen to have the teaser below.
