Below you will find brief descriptions of this week’s comics along with the ratings. Below the main TBU titles will be the DC Universe specific titles that feature characters from The Batman Universe. Rather than giving in depth reviews for those titles, we will be describing what happens in the book involving TBU characters and how it possibly impacts the story.

Red Hood and the Outlaws #2: After revealing his true intentions against Black Mask, Red Hood and Artemis decide to team up against the villain to recover the stolen train car which holds the clone of Superman. -Bill 4.5/5
Gotham Academy: Second Semester #1: Olive Silverlock spends a lonely holiday break in the snowy halls of spooky Gotham Academy. An unexpected comrade encourages Olive to flirt with danger. -Gerry 4/5

Batman ’66 Meets Steed and Mrs. Peel #3 (digital chapters #5-6): The Dynamic Duo, Steed, and Mrs. Peel are on the prowl for the master of the Cybernauts. Watch them battle the metal monsters. Marvel at their deductive powers. Laugh at their killer bee dance. -Gerry 3/5

Teen Titans #24: The issue provides remembrances for the deceased Red Robin. As a result of his death the team decide to go their separate ways unknowingly leaving Damian Wayne to step in to a new Teen Titans. -Jim 5/5
Suicide Squad #2: The team regroups after the space craft crash and one of the team meets their end as General Zod is revealed to be the one they are dealing with. -Corbin 4.5/5
Secondary DC Universe Books (involving TBU cameos and digital firsts)
Action Comics #963: Maggie Sawyer, who now has returned to her original roots in Metropolis appears, is involved with the police aspects of the story. Batman lends a helping hand with Clark’s lie detector test.
DC Comics Bombshells #17 (digital chapters #49-51): Batwoman discovers part of her Jewish heritage from Miriam, a young refugee. Zatanna deals with her two friends, John and Raven, but while John has worked to redeem himself, Raven was a mask for Joker’s Daughter, leading a Nazi attack. The real Raven, enslaved by Joker’s Daughter, attacks, but is disenchanted by Miriam, who discovers her powers as Miri Marvel, with the powers of Shazam. Together, Miri, Zatanna and Raven take the refugees and heroes to a new haven.
Earth 2: Society #16: As the final battle with the Ultra-Humanite comes to an end, Dick Grayson’s Batman, his son and Huntress are all involved in the final showdown in which everyone seems to disappear.
Injustice: Gods Among Us #17 (digital chapters #33-34): The insurgency’s capture of Cyborg results in them recovering video footage of Superman’s murdering of the group of Jokers. Before they can show the world, however, Raven arrives and creates a world-wide blackout to stop them.
New Super-Man #3: As the New Super-Man reveals his existence to the world, he also announces the Justice League of China which includes China’s Bat-Man. Batman, himself, makes a cameo as he watches the announcement from the Watchtower.
Superwoman #2: Maggie sawyer is featured and briefly mentions Batwoman.
