TDKR Rumor Mill: Broken Bat?

Well there is yet another possible spoiler that may tie The Dark Knight Rises into one of, if not the most classic Bane story in comics. It appears that according to this spy-cam shot who were watching filming in Los Angeles, Bruce Wayne is using a cane when making a public appearance. Could this have something to do with his back being broken?
