Via Badass Digest, it appears that someone portraying a "mad scientist" has been cast in The Dark Knight Rises.
An Israeli actor by the name of Alon Aboutboul. was being interviewed and was asked a question to which the answer referred to "the new Batman role". It is difficult to understand exactly what was going on during the interview because it was translated pretty horribly.
So whether or not this "mad scientist" will turn out to be anyone of importance, we will have to wait and see. But expect to see some things about Hugo Strange pop back up.
