The history books will one day refer to it as “The Photo That Launched a Thousand Cosplays”, but for today we’re just going to call it the first official picture of actor Brenton Thwaites suited up as Robin for the upcoming Titans series.
Designed by Laura Jean Shannon (Iron Man, Black Lightning), the suit takes a lot of inspiration from Robin’s more modern look, with a darker color scheme and a mix of leather over armor rather than the spandex-clad Boy Wonder we may be used to seeing. In the world of TV super heroes, think more Flash and less Supergirl. As Titans is being produced by many of the same team behind the “Arrowverse” it’s safe to assume the remaining Teen Titans will also have looks that stay true to their comic book origins.
