Gotham has added more cast members to it's cast list. This time it is Jada Pinkett Smith who will be playing "Fish Mooney". In the show, Mooney is described as a "sadistic gangster boss and nightclub owner. She's got the street smarts and almost extra-sensory abilities to read people like an open book. Imposing and hot-headed, she's not one to be crossed. She will also be the boss of Oswald Cobblepot who will be played by Robin Lord Taylor who is described as "having the brains of a chess grandmaster and the morals of a jackal."
Joining Smith and Taylor will be Zabryna Guevara who will be playing Captain Essen. Essen is described as Gordon's boss at the GCPD Homicide Division and according to her character bio she "balances the two worlds of police and politics with a Machiavellian skill that’s as much corporate litigator as cop."
Sean Pertwee will also be joining the cast as Alfred who is described as "a tough-as-nails ex-marine from East London, Alfred Pennyworth has loyally served the Waynes. Now, in the wake of their tragic deaths, he’s fiercely protective of the young Bruce Wayne."
And finally Erin Richards will be joining the cast as Gordon's Fiance Barbara Kean. Barbara is described as “a sophisticated emergency room doctor” who is “joyful but with an edge of vulnerability.”
Gotham will be produced by showrunner Bruno Heller and Danny Cannon will direct the pilot which will be shown on Fox.
