DC has released some advanced solicitations for Batman-related graphic novels and trade releases that will be available at various times through the months of October and November.
Many of these are collected editions of various ongoing titles, but several are worth of special note. First, in October, DC is releasing a new collection of Gotham City Sirens which collects issue #1-13 of the series which featured Catwoman, Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn. Also in October, DC will release a special noir edition of Batman: The Long Halloween which will spotlight the art of Tim Sale.
Lastly, coming in November DC will release a special hardcover called Batman: Kelley Jones Gallery Edition. For the first time ever, fans and collectors will have the opportunity to see and own museum-quality reproductions of memorable Batman art…as it was originally conceived by the artist. Printed in color from high-resolution scans of the actual original art. This hardcover will be the first in a series of new deluxe hardcovers and will contain covers and interior art from Batman #515-#525 except for a small part of #520 which Kelley Jones did not draw. This new series from Graphitti Designs will focus on high resolution art but will come with a high price as well as this first volume will cost collectors $125.
