It’s been nearly four years since Duke Thomas was introduced in the pages of Batman and in all that time, including his time as part of the We Are Robin movement, he has been without a codename. Well that’s about to change as Scott Snyder announced at SDCC that he will be co-writing a new series featuring Duke with co-writer Tony Patrick. The series will be called Batman: The Signal, and, you guessed it, Duke’s new codename will be Signal as revealed in Dark Days: The Casting, and will be known as “Gotham’s hero by day.”
No word yet on a release day, but what do you think of Duke’s new alter-ego? Worth the wait or were you hoping he’d take up the mantle of Robin?
