September 15 will mark the fifth year that Batman Day is being celebrated in comic book stores, bookstores, and libraries across the country. This year along with free copies of Batman: White Knight and Batman: A Lot of Li’l Gotham, retailers are also being given access to an online kit that features activities that can be done in store with fans young an old. The kits involve masks, word searches, mazes, coloring pages, trivia questions, match games, and even a recipe for Dark Knight cinnamon toast. The online activity kit is available on DC’s website and can be downloaded and used if you plan on celebrating the day either in-store or at home.
This year’s celebration also marks the start of DC’s celebration of Batman’s 80th anniversary which will officially occur in 2019 along with the impending release of Detective Comics #1000 with more information coming soon.
