The holidays are upon us. That means shopping for presents, gathering with family, and sharing arguments on what is or isn’t a Christmas movie. There is one film that comes up time and time again about whether or not it is a Christmas movie and that film is Batman Returns.

Were you expecting another great action film that people claim is or isn’t a Christmas movie? Jokes aside, Batman Returns takes place during the holiday season. There is plenty of decoration around Gotham City along with the citizens doing their holiday shopping. An entire sequence involves henchmen appearing out of a giant wrapped present.
