DC and the San Diego Comic-Con International have announced that Batman will be largely featured in the 224-page full-color trade paperback given free to Comic-Con attendees. The cover will feature Batman atop one of Gotham's iconic gargoyles which is both pencilled and inked by DC Entertainment's co-publisher Jim Lee. In addition to the cover, the trade will include a long section devoted to the Dark Knight in celebration of not only the 75th anniversary of Batman's first appearance in Detective Comics #27 but also (according to the SDCCI announcement) the 100th birthday of Batman co-creator Bill Finger and the 25th anniversary of the 1989 Tim Burton Batman film. The CCI 2014 Souvenir Book is available only onsite at Comic-Con to registered attendees.
