Celebrate Batman’s 75th Anniversary and ‘Batman: Arkham Knight’ with ‘Cape/Cowl/Create’ Art Exhibit at SDCC
Top pop and comic artists, illustrators and Hollywood heavyweights unveil their interpretations of Batman’s iconic Cape & Cowl in San Diego
What: Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment will celebrate the 75th anniversary of Batman at Comic-Con International: San Diego 2014 by unveiling life-size recreations of The Dark Knight’s iconic cowl headpiece and cape from the upcoming “Batman: Arkham Knight” videogame in the Hard Rock Hotel’s Legends Room. Top artists and celebrity talent, including Zack Snyder (“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice”), Mister Cartoon, Buff Monster, Zso (Sara Blake), Apex, Michael Hsiung, Will Arnett (“The Lego Movie”) and Jeff Lemire are re-imagining the Dark Knight’s iconic mantle.
The “Cape/Cowl/Create” exhibition will be open to the public Friday through Sunday. Some of the collaborations, designed by world-renowned artists, will be auctioned for charity in 2015.
