Batman to Receive Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

2019 has truly been the year of Batman.  Comic-Con International announced that the Caped Crusader would become the first inductee into the new Comic-Con Hall of Fame. Now it has been announced that Batman is among a slew of celebrities in the class of 2020 to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  Joining the Dark Knight in receiving this honor will be the likes of Alicia Keys, Julia Roberts, and Spike Lee.

 

While Batman is not the first fictional character to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (characters such as Bugs Bunny, Donald Duck, and Tinker Bell have already been enshrined), he will become the first comic book superhero to receive the honor.

Theo is a lifelong resident of Louisiana. He has been a collector of comic books since the age of nine, amassing a huge collection before losing most to Hurricane Katrina.
