This past few days have brought a number of news bits for Batman: Arkham City. From everything from audio from the game, Robin appearing in the game and more screenshots, e3 is over and the major announcement from Rocksteady was Catwoman being playable in the game. So let's talk about the new updates.
One of the major things that have risen from e3 2011 is a set of interview tapes. G4 was first up on this front as they came across a cassette tape labelled Selina Kyle aka Catwoman. The tape is a recording of Catwoman talking with Hugo Strange after her detainment by the Tyger guards as shown in the vault scene in the recent trailer. Below is the recording from G4. Not much as far as spoilers but if you are wanting to be surprised by things appearing in the game, skip the video and wait til the game is released.
The other interview tape that surfaced was from the site Siliconera. This tape features a conversation between Two-Face and Hugo Strange.
The other big news over the weekend was a possible mistakenly announced exclusive from Best Buy for those who pre-order the game. It appears that Robin will in fact be in the game although it seems as if he will appear only in the challenge maps for now. Rocksteady has stated that more information will be coming from them about Robin's inclusion in the game in the near future. Here what Best Buy mentioned on their site.
Finally, Rocksteady has released a new set of screenshots for the game.
Batman: Arkham City Releases in North America on October 18th for PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
