Warner Bros. has sent over a new trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight. The trailer is short with a promise that Battle Mode will be unleashed at E3.
If you watched the trailer until the end, you would have seen that the date has gone from the original 2014 release date to the last trailer of "Coming Soon" to the current "Coming 2015". We reached out to our contacts at Warner Bros. and asked if they had any information on the release date being shifted. They replied with this statement:
Batman: Arkham Knight is the most ambitious title Rocksteady has ever created. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, DC Entertainment and Rocksteady have decided to extend the development of the game to ensure that the trilogy gets the epic conclusion that Batman fans want and deserve.
So while Batman: Arkham Knight may not be releasing this year, Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham was just announced to release this year. While it may not be a constallation prize for some, delays could mean a better overall game.
Also released were a number of new screenshots.
Batman: Arkham Knight is now planned to release in 2015. More information will probably be made at E3.
