Today during the Batman panel at the New York Comic Con, Scott Snyder announced that Stephanie Brown will be returning to DC Comics in the newly announced weekly Batman title, Batman: Eternal. Fans have been asking for Stephanie Brown's return ever since the New 52 launched two years ago, and now she'll finally be making her return to comics as the Spoiler, starting in issue #3 of Batman: Eternal, in a story by James Tynion. Here is what Scott Snyder had to say about Stephine Brown's return during the panel:
"We know that they're characters that you guys have been really vocal about. Your guys' love of Stephanie Brown have been so inspiring to us. We're really proud to announce that she'll be coming back in [new weekly series ‘Batman: Eternal’], in a big way. Dan DiDio is in the audience to yell at us for telling you that."
"No one was trying to shelve her. It was more about finding the right time to reintroduce her."
