At Comic Con, the release date for all 109 episodes of Batman: The Animated Series on Blu-ray was announced. October 16 is when you will be able to get your hands on this exclusive collection. Along will brand new transfers of the original series and the follow-up series, The New Batman Adventures, the collection will also include Batman: Sub-Zero and Batman: Mask of the Phantasm along with special features such as commentaries, a new hour-long featurette titled “Heart of Batman”, an art book, and mini Funko Pop figures. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment isn’t kidding when they call it a complete collection.
The show had previously been released in four volumes on DVD and the first two seasons of the show will be made available through the DC Universe streaming service this fall in high definition, but this new collection is the only way to get everything in HD on home media. The Deluxe Limited Edition will be priced at $112.99 and be limited to 30,000 copies, 2000 of which have already been pre-ordered since the announcement.

Batman and Mr. Freeze: SubZero (Feature-Length Film) – Batman faces his coolest case ever when Mr. Freeze returns to Gotham City and kidnaps Batgirl. While unraveling the mystery of Batgirl’s disappearance, Batman and Robin discover that she is part of Mr. Freeze’s frigid plan to save his dying wife – no matter what the cost. With time running out, Batman and Robin must find Gotham’s most cold-blooded villain and prevent him from putting Batgirl “on ice” forever.
