Warner Bros. has announced that due to an overwhelming demand from fans, Batman: The Complete Animated Series Limited Edition Box Set will increase its run to 70,000. Initially, only scheduled for 30,000, the overwhelming volume of pre-orders has prompted Warner Bros. to more than double production.
Batman: The Animated Series aired from 1992 to 1995 and was an instant hit with fans and critics. The show became a game changer for the Batman Universe by introducing characters like Harley Quinn and reimagining others. Star Wars actor Mark Hamill lent his legendary talent to the voice of the Joker, with Kevin Conroy, in what would become a long-term role, as the voice of Batman.
The collection features Blu-ray and digital copies of all original 109 episodes, two remastered feature films, and hours of bonus content and behind the scenes extras and interviews. Additionally, the set will include exclusive collectibles featuring the shows most beloved characters and a ninety-minute documentary detailing the creative process behind the show.
The set will be available in limited quantity on October 30, 2018. The price is currently listed as $112.99. If you haven’t ordered yours before now because it was sold out, now is your chance to get your copy before they are gone. Head over to Amazon to pre-order yours now.
