The first panel of the convention was DC discussing various prjects happening all around the DC Universe. In attendance from The Batman Universe was current Batgirl writer, Gail Simone, upcoming writer of Earth-2, Tom Taylor and Batman: Li'l Gotham co-writer, Derek Fridolfs. Here are the highlights releated to The Batman Universe:
-Gail Simone stated that the new art team of Fernando Pasarin, Jonathan Glapion and Blond is the best team she has ever worked with.
-Barbara Gordon will be struggling on whether to be Batgirl or not because of how painful it would be for her father.
-Derek Fridolfs revealed that a special Comic-Con themed issue of Batman: Li'l Gotham will release on Sunday focusing on the Gotham Comic Con.
-Tom Taylor revealed that in November an annual will be released for Injustice: Gods Among Us focussing on Harley Quinn and Lobo.
-Simone stated that it will slowly be revealed how Barbara regained the ability to walk by having bits show up in future issues.
-Taylor stated that he will be focusing on the Batman of Earth-2 in his upcoming run on Earth-2.
The next panel that DC will be hosting related to The Batman Universe is the DC Digital panel later this afternoon.
