The turn of a new calendar year brings us an advance solicit for another title spinning out of Dark Nights: Metal, as well as multiple stories wrapping up including SUPERFRIENDS in Batman, the FALL OF THE BATMEN in Detective Comics, the “Super Sons Of Tomorrow” crossover and the Nightwing: The New Order mini-series. Batman and the Signal is also kicking off this month as the series was pushed back and is being resolicited.
As previously revealed in Last Week in the Batcave, Batman: White Knight has been extended to an eight issue series. There will also be new story arcs kicking off in Batwoman, Batgirl, Batgirl and the Birds of Prey, Harley Quinn, and Suicide Squad in January. And being a five Wednesday month, the month will wrap up when James Tynion IV, Eddy Barrows and Eber Ferreria re-tell Basil Karlo’s Clayface origin in Detective Annual #1.
